Ginger has her first oncology appointment on the 30th and I'm honestly really nervous, especially since I found another belly lump near the original incision site that I fear is another mammary tumor. On a lighter note, she's recovered well from her original lumpectomy and has been back to her usual feisty self. Trying to cherish every day as much as I can, but it's often so difficult to be present.. We have a long road ahead and I'm trying to be as hopeful as I can. I'm also still trying to save up for the procedures and treatments she'll need going forward (everything up to now has cost $1,887.75) and I am so incredibly grateful to everyone who's donated, purchased adoptables, and commissioned me in these times. Got a call from the vet this morning about Ginger's biopsy results. The bad news is the belly lump they removed was grade 2 mammary cancer, but the good news is they got clear margins and there's no signs of lymph node spread! *Considering the aggressive nature of mammary cancer, she will need further treatment to lower the chances of recurrence and future spread Bringing her back in for a checkup as soon as I'm able and will seek guidance on next steps. Thank you guys SO much for your wellness wishes and support!! 💖💖 This has been such an emotional roller coaster, I've been so scared for my sweet baby 😭 Please give your touch-loving pets extra pets and kisses for me! EDIT: Found another lump on her belly and realized her incision is infected...taking her in tomorrow. I'm so anxious and tired ;~;
